About Heartland Inlays
We built our flooring company (Wood Floors by Wicks) on the principle of affordable craftsmanship. Our desire was to
produce
the kind of solid hardwood floors walked on by kings, but at
a price anyone could afford. In 1996 our paths drew us to the
heartland of
America, southeast Missouri, and since then we have
continued to produce beautiful floors in the Greater St. Louis area.
These
floors were made distinctively by our handcrafted inlays which were
affordable as well as beautiful. We decided to offer those
distinctive floors to others as Heartland Inlays.
At Heartland Inlays all of our inlays are handcrafted so each piece is truly a work of art. Every border or medallion we make is crafted by a single worker, not an assembly line.
We inspect each inlay for defects throughout the process by a master craftsman. This process insures you a find handcrafted inlay, at a reasonable price, that you will enjoy for the life of your home.
